Jefferson Health is seeking zoning relief to put up 14 signs at the intersection of Bath Pike (Route 512) and Highland Avenue.
The Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board is due to hear the hospital chain’s request for signs at 90 Highland Ave. on Aug. 27.
Philadelphia-based Jefferson operates locally under the Lehigh Valley Health Network brand. LVHN has facilities on Highland Avenue to the east of the site of the proposed signs.
Jefferson wants to put up nine wall signs and five freestanding signs for a total of 781 square feet. That results in an average sign size of about 55 square feet.
The property overlooking Route 512 is owned by Jaindl Land Co.
