Allentown School District Posts Back to School Guide, Asks for Patience With Bus Service in First Week

The Allentown School District is ready for the 2026-27 school year to start Aug. 24, but asks for families using Student Transportation of America service to stay cool.

 “During the first week of school, we ask for your patience and understanding,” according to the ASD website.  

The district is working with Student Transportation of America and asks anyone with questions to contact STA at 484-209-0898. The district provides bus service to more than 5,500 students.

The back-to-school guide covers orientation, schedules, immunization clinics and more.

The Allentown School District is led by Superintendent Dr. Carol D. Birks. It operates 25 schools serving 16,700 students.
