Bethlehem Township’s Planning Commission will review Notre Dame High School’s plans for athletic fields and the expansion of Grace Church at a Sept. 28 meeting.
The Catholic school at 3417 Church Rd. plans to add parking, install a practice field at the site of the current track, and have a synthetic track circling the football field.
The meeting agenda does not provide details of the Grace Church Bethlehem expansion. The Presbyterian church moved to 4301 Hecktown Road in 2023. Earlier, Grace Church split from First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.
First Presbyterian Church will hold its final service at 2344 Center St. later this year. It plans to lease space from Christ Church U.C.C. at 75 E. Market St. in Bethlehem for what it describes as “nesting” for a few years, sharing the downtown building with U.C.C.
The Bethlehem Township Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 28 at the municipal building, 4225 Easton Ave. Agendas are subject to change. Check the township website before the meeting.
