Giant grocery stores are sending 10% off coupons to customers in the wake of a cybersecurity incident.

Parent company Ahold Delhaize reported a network-security issue Oct. 12. Giant’s website and mobile application were taken down and as of 11 a.m. today, were not back.

“We’re working to restore service as quickly as possible,” the grocery-store chain says on the site.

Meanwhile, 10% off coupons are going out via email, and all digital coupons in this week’s ad will be automatically applied with use of the Giant store card. The coupon is good for up to $10. To get the maximum discount, a shopper would have to spend $100 on eligible items, which isn’t too hard these days.

The email notes only that the website is down, not the extent of the breach.

Ahold Delhaize is based in the Netherlands. Its U.S. brands include Giant, Food Lion, Stop & Shop, and Hannaford.
