White Cap, a distributor of construction supplies and safety products, has opened a Bethlehem-area distribution center.
The Atlanta-based company is operating at 4770 Hanoverville Road in Lower Nazareth Township, formerly site of Stitch Fix, an online clothing retailer that closed in 2023. The 35-acre property is owned by Prologis, which has about 30 million square feet of warehouse space in the Lehigh Valley.
White Cap refers to that operation as its Bethlehem Enterprise Distribution Center. During its recent grand opening, White Cap donated $5,000 each to the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company and Upper Nazareth Fire Department.
The company employs 66 people at the site now and will increase that to “more than 70.” Stitch Fix employed about 375 people at the Lower Nazareth building.
The Bethlehem-area site serves 13 states, including the cities of New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., according to the company’s press release.
White Cap employs more than 12,000 people nationally. It distributes tools, chemicals, building materials, waterproofing and safety products, and more at 575 branches across the U.S.

The 480,940-square-foot facility is the company’s second EDC and first in the Eastern United States, representing a major investment in White Cap’s national supply chain network.
