I want Wawa to open on my property.
The land that is home to the Lehigh Valley’s newest Wawa has been sold for $5.87 million.
The sale of the 2.7 acres at 10 Stonegate Drive in Allen Township was recorded by Northampton County on June 11.
The convenience store is at the intersection of Route 329 and Savage Road, near Howertown Road. The Allen Township Wawa has fuel pumps and is open around the clock.
The buyer was Marcie Ventures, a limited liability corporation based in Baltimore, and the seller was Allen Development Partners.
Wawa adds value to a property. A former PNC Bank in Bath that is now home to a Wawa was sold this month for $1.25 million, and in Bethlehem, the Wawa property on East Broad Street was sold for $4 million in 2023.
The convenience-store chain started as a foundry in New Jersey more than 200 years ago, then became a dairy business in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Wawa has been expanding and now operates more than 1,200 stores.
